The conference programme covers special formats of activities with different aspects of the conference theme.

There are three key note lectures and five main topics for workshops.

Invited keynote lectures are given by leading experts on physical activity and health promotion from Europe, North America and China. The five topics for the workshops are: “Exercise is Medicine” with two examples (ACSM /HCSC); Technology in Physical Education; Teaching Physical Education;  PE Teacher Training and finally, establishing  a new common "Network of Healthy Schools". All delegates will talk about their experiences and give recommendations for these topics of the conference.

School clinics on “good practice” in daily health enhanced PE for an active lifestyle and on teaching nutrition classes about cross-curricular items of  PA and nutrition will be addressed by practical school lessons at two Velen Primary Schools (DE) and one Winterswijk Primary School (NL) with local head and PE teachers.

Furthermore, delegates will meet in small discussion groups and in one final assembly to discuss their outcome of recommendations on how to build the future dimension of networking for the benefit of physical education for children and youth.

In one poster session delegates can refer to their experiences and involvement in school - sport club links and/or school- community links to support physical education and health promotion by combined partnerships.

Beside this academic programme of the Global Forum a social programme has been prepared which includes an excursion to the city of Münster, a stroll in its medieval Principal Market with fine shops and a reception in the old Hall of Peace at the Lord Mayor's House, where in 1648 the "European 30-year War" was put to an end with the famous treaty of “Westphalian Peace” and the foundation of a new country: the Netherlands.
